The 48-year-old singer was “found in a pool of blood” and suffered a number of injuries following a terrifying accident, though she cannot remember the specific details of what happened to her.<\/p>\n
She wrote on her Instagram Story on Tuesday (19.08.25): \u201cI struggled to write this but everyone keeps calling me and honestly, I can\u2019t even really talk anymore I\u2019m so weak.<\/p>\n
\u201cI almost died Sunday. I was found in a pool of blood from my friend with a face injury.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs the days go by the worse it is. I fractured my nose, lost some teeth and mobility. [broken heart emojis] the way I look at life now is totally different. As my health is on the mend my mental journey begins\u2026 pray for me for real [broken heart emojis] I don\u2019t even know what happened to me [broken heart emojis] (sic)\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe post was accompanied by Clavier’s song Spirit Lead Me.<\/p>\n
\nTamar later reposted a page from the Bible showing Proverbs 31, a verse about strong women.<\/p>\n
\nAnd before she had revealed the news of her accident, Tamar had shared a short quote to her account.<\/p>\n
\nIt simply stated: \u201cThank you God for waking me up today.”<\/p>\n
\nThe Braxtons star revealed earlier this year she is “not interested” in finding love again.<\/p>\n
\nThe Heart In Me hitmaker – who was married to Darrell Allamby from 2001 to 2003 and record producer Vincent Herbert between 2008 and 2019 – told The Breakfast Club: “I\u2019m still celibate. Not even a kiss, not a date.<\/p>\n
\n“I have friends, casual conversation, but I\u2019m not interested. There\u2019s no one that I\u2019ve been interested in.”<\/p>\n
\nTamar still craves some intimacy from time to time. But she’s also taking a long-term approach to her love life.<\/p>\n
\nThe singer – who has Logan, 11, with Vincent – shared: “Of course I [crave intimacy], but where does that lead to? If they\u2019re not like-minded and we\u2019re not on the same page \u2026 I\u2019m dating for intent, and nobody is dating for intent anymore. It\u2019s crazy.”<\/p>\n
\nThe Love and War hitmaker had previously explained she had put her love life on hold in order to “protect” her on.<\/p>\n
\nDuring an appearance on the Sherri show, Tamar explained: “Here’s the thing: I didn\u2019t want to keep introducing Logan to the people that were in my life. <\/p>\n
\n“I just want to mentally protect him as much as I can. I don’t want to give him any abandonment issues or anything like that.”<\/p>\n
