Kailyn Lowry<\/strong><\/a><\/span> is ready to say goodbye to summer and hello to a new look.<\/p>\n

\u201cFarewell tour for the double chin \u270c\ud83c\udffc,\u201d Lowry, 33, wrote via Instagram<\/span><\/a> on Sunday, August 17, with a carousel of pictures. \u201c#photodump #lifelately #transformationtime #glowupseason #surgeryjourney #summervibes.\u201d<\/p>\n

While her assortment of summer memories included beach days and family game nights, many fans were intrigued by her photos in a doctor\u2019s office.<\/p>\n

In two photos, Lowry was seen meeting with facial plastic surgeon Dr. Tina Ho<\/strong> and getting markings on her face for a presumed procedure.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou look crazy on slide 11 \ud83d\ude02\ud83d\ude02,\u201d Lowry\u2019s 15-year-old son Issac wrote in the comments section. Lowry replied, \u201cI am crazy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lowry shares Isaac with Jo Rivera<\/strong>, son Lincoln, 11, with Javi Marroquin<\/strong> and sons Lux, 8, and Creed, 5, with Chris Lopez<\/strong>. The podcast host and Elijah Scott<\/strong> also welcomed son Rio in 2022 and announced the birth<\/span><\/a> of twins Verse and Valley in 2024.<\/p>\n

The photos surfaced days after the former Teen Mom 2<\/i><\/span><\/a> star revealed on her \u201cCoffee Convos\u201d<\/span><\/a> podcast that she was going under the knife.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m getting my neck chopped off in two weeks so I\u2019m, like, sort of waiting to get Botox until after that,\u201d she told cohost Lindsie Chrisley<\/strong> on August 12. \u201cI\u2019m really excited to have a snatched jawline. What\u2019s weird [is] when I sit up straight, I don\u2019t really have a double chin, right? But it\u2019s the angles that I always have a double chin. Sometimes I have three.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lowry expressed her hope that the surgery would remove her double chin \u201ccompletely.\u201d<\/p>\n

At the same time, she acknowledged there is always a risk in going under the knife.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s a chance I could need another one in 20 years,\u201d she said, per her doctor. \u201cHopefully in 20 years I\u2019ll be taking a dirt nap anyway, so.\u201d<\/p>\n

As fans prepare for more updates on social media, many are sounding off on what they think of the procedure.<\/p>\n

While some are critical of Lowry\u2019s plastic surgery decisions, the former MTV star appears to only engage with positive feedback.<\/p>\n

\u201cGirl, you know you\u2019re beautiful,\u201d one fan wrote in the comments section. \u201cBut if something makes you happy and feel even better, go on and get it.\u201d<\/p>\n
