Catherine Zeta-Jones<\/strong><\/a> is opening up about her lifestyle with husband Michael Douglas<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n The 55-year-old Wednesday<\/em> star recently spoke with The Sunday Times<\/a><\/em> about the four homes she and her 80-year-old husband own together: homes located in Canada, Spain, and two in New York.<\/p>\n \u201cI know it sounds very jet set, and I love to surround myself with beauty but it\u2019s not excessive, it\u2019s very comfortable,\u201d Catherine<\/strong> explained.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Although she\u2019s known for her glamorous style, Catherine<\/strong> insisted she keeps things simple when it comes to everyday fashion. <\/p>\n \u201cFor me, a pair of jeans is a pair of jeans. Spending \u00a3200 ($270) on a white T-shirt? Nah. But when it comes to couture, beautiful beading, the artistry \u2026 I love the theatre of fashion,\u201d she said, adding that she often browses Paris vintage shops for unique pieces.<\/p>\n The actress also reflected on her upbringing in Swansea, Wales, where her father worked in a candy factory before buying it after a bingo win of over $135,000. That prize money funded Catherine<\/strong>\u2019s dance lessons and set her on a path toward stardom. <\/p>\n \u201cIt feels like a very precocious thing, and I don\u2019t know where it comes from, but I\u2019d say it out loud, \u2018I want to be on the stage.\u2019 I was a bit of a prodigy,\u201d she shared.<\/p>\n Catherine<\/strong> and Michael <\/strong>tied the knot in 2000 and share two children: son Dylan<\/strong><\/a>, 25, and daughter Carys<\/strong><\/a>, 22. Michael<\/strong> also shares son Cameron<\/strong><\/a>, 46, with ex-wife Diandra Luker<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n One of their most famous homes is the S\u2019Estaca estate in Mallorca, Spain, which he purchased in 1990 and once co-owned with Diandra<\/strong>. After years of dividing the property, he confirmed in 2021<\/a> that it is now fully his and Catherine<\/strong>\u2019s, calling the island \u201cmagical\u201d and saying, \u201cMy children will continue to come and my grandchildren and their children.
