As Dancing With the Stars<\/em><\/a> fans wait to see which celebrities are gracing the ballroom on season 34, cohosts Julianne Hough<\/strong><\/a> and Alfonso Ribeiro<\/strong><\/a> got in on the fun with their own performance.<\/p>\n

In Us Weekly<\/em>\u2018s exclusive first look at the extended promo for season 34, Hough, 37, and Ribeiro, 53, busted a move<\/a> to \u201cPump Up the Jam\u201d by Technotronic before ABC\u2019s ballroom dance competition returns on September 16.<\/p>\n

The network already announced that TikToker Alix Earle<\/strong> and Steve Irwin<\/strong>\u2018s son, Robert Irwin<\/strong>, are competing for the mirrorball trophy next season. During the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/em> reunion special, which aired in July, host Nick Viall<\/strong> revealed that both Jen Affleck<\/strong> and Whitney Leavitt<\/strong> were chosen to join<\/a> the DWTS<\/em> cast.<\/p>\n

The full roster of celebrity participants<\/a> and returning DWTS<\/em> pros will be officially revealed on the September 3 episode of Good Morning America<\/em>. Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough<\/strong> and Bruno Tonioli<\/strong> are expected to return as judges alongside Ribeiro and Julianne as hosts.<\/p>\n

During an exclusive interview with Us<\/em> earlier this month, Derek, 40, and Julianne revealed they wouldn\u2019t rule out performing on DWTS<\/em> again.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe should. That door is always open for us to get together and do something fun, especially on Dancing With the Stars,\u201d Derek teased about teaming up with his sister.<\/p>\n

Derek and Julianne also weighed in on possibly swapping their current roles as judge and cohost.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cJules has been there, done that,\u201d Derek quipped. \u201cGot the T-shirt. \u2026 The next thing she\u2019s got to do on that show is, I don\u2019t know, she could direct it or something.\u201d<\/p>\n

Julianne noted that she felt \u201cvery solid\u201d as Ribeiro\u2019s cohost, adding, \u201cI\u2019ve been on the stage and now I love watching other people shine. I get to also watch as a fan this time and then I get to support and hopefully ask the right kind of questions to have America fall in love with them and want to root for them. So I really love my current position.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThe pressure is on for Dancing With the Stars to top the record-breaking success of season 33 \u2014 and Us has some ideas for how season 34 can up the ante. Two celebrity contestants have already been revealed, with Robert Irwin and influencer Alix Earle vying for the coveted mirrorball trophy when DWTS returns to [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

While previewing season 34, Derek teased that there\u2019s going to be \u201ca lot of tea.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know what that means these days, but I guess that\u2019s a phrase that people use,\u201d Derek told Us<\/em>. \u201cTea will be spilled. I think there\u2019s a lot of energy. There\u2019s a lot of momentum with Dancing With the Stars. \u2026 I think that momentum is gonna carry through into this one and it\u2019s already feeling bigger than it\u2019s ever been before we\u2019ve even started. I think it\u2019s going to be a big season.\u201d<\/p>\n
