Josh Duhamel says getting together with his wife Audra Mari was \u2018very lucky\u2019<\/p>\n
The 52-year-old actor married the 31-year-old model in 2022 in Fargo, North Dakota, after dating for approximately three years, and he has now paid an emotional tribute to his partner.<\/p>\n
He told People: \u201cI got very lucky. I met an amazing woman, who just has all the things you look for in a woman.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe really is just amazing. She’s a great mom, she’s a great role model… and I feel very lucky to have somebody that I get to share (life) with.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u00a0A source told People at the time if the pair\u2019s marriage the nuptials were \u201clovely\u201d and the Off the Grid star and his bride had \u201ca great time\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\nAudra later gave birth to the couple’s first child \u2013\u00a0a son named Shepherd Lawrence \u2013\u00a0on January 11, 2024. Josh is also a father to son Axl, 11, from his previous marriage to singer Fergie.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\nThe actor also told People he couldn\u2019t wait until his next big milestone with Audra.<\/p>\n
\nHe said: \u201cI’m very much looking forward to our third wedding anniversary.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI’m going to be with this girl forever.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nJosh recalled how his romance with the model began while appearing as a guest on Live with Kelly and Mark in 2023.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\nThe father-of-two said he slid into her DMs after she’d \u201cwon some pageants and stuff\u201d in North Dakota.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\nHe added: \u201cI invited her over to a barbecue one weekend, and she came, and I was like, \u2018Wow, you\u2019re beautiful\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nHe then admitted he didn\u2019t think a romance was in the cards due to the pair\u2019s age difference.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\nJosh went on: \u201cWe started dating, and you know, here we are.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\n\u201cShe\u2019s a pretty amazing girl, she really is.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nIn addition to his acting career, Josh has ventured into directing and producing.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\nHe directed and produced the 2019 film Buddy Games and its 2023 sequel, Buddy Games: Spring Awakening.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\nHe\u2019s also set to star in the upcoming series Ransom Canyon, which is scheduled to premiere in 2025. Josh\u2019s filmography includes roles in movies such as Transformers (2007), When in Rome (2010), Life as We Know It (2010), and Love, Simon (2018.)\u00a0<\/p>\n
\nHe has also appeared in television series such as Las Vegas (from 2003 to 2008), Battle Creek (2015), and Jupiter’s Legacy (2021.)\u00a0<\/p>\n
