Jared Goff<\/strong> <\/a>has shared what it was like after Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> mentioned his name on a podcast listened to by millions of people in the first 24 hours after it dropped.<\/p>\n

According to Sports Illustrated<\/em><\/a> on Thursday, August 14, the Detroit Lions quarterback said his phone nearly exploded with messages after the \u201cBad Blood\u201d singer name-dropped him on the \u201cNew Heights\u201d podcast<\/a> earlier this week.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, pretty crazy, huh? Very cool, I guess,\u201d the NFL star, 30, told reporters. \u201cThat was a crazy couple hours last night for me and my phone. I was like, \u2018Oh, okay.\u2019 But yeah, pretty cool.\u201d<\/p>\n

Swift was a very special guest on the Wednesday, August 13 episode of \u201cNew Heights,\u201d which is cohosted by the singer\u2019s boyfriend Travis Kelce,<\/strong> 35, and his brother Jason<\/strong>, 37.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tTaylor Swift\u2019s debut appearance on boyfriend Travis Kelce\u2019s \u201cNew Heights\u201d podcast did not disappoint. The pop star, 35, joined the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, also 35, and his cohost brother, Jason Kelce, during the Wednesday, August 13, episode of the podcast. \u201cThis podcast has done a lot for me,\u201d Swift, 35, said in the [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In the episode, the \u201cShake It Off\u201d songstress, 35, spoke about her initial limited knowledge of the ins and outs of NFL prior to meeting and subsequently dating Travis.<\/p>\n

\u201cI thought it was like, Jared Goff is here, and Josh Allen\u2019s<\/strong> here,\u201d Swift said. \u201cThey\u2019re gonna be like, they blow a whistle, and they go at each other, and they\u2019re like \u2018grrrr,\u2019 and it\u2019s like, who\u2019s gonna win?\u201d<\/p>\n

Swift also joked about the mixed reaction<\/a> she\u2019s received from \u201cmale sports fans\u201d since she began dating Travis in summer 2023 and has been a regular fixture at many of his games.<\/p>\n

During the long-requested and highly anticipated podcast episode, Swift revealed the cover \u2013 and later the track list \u2013 of her equally anticipated 12th album, titled Life of a Showgirl<\/em>. More than 13 million people tuned in to watch the episode<\/a> on YouTube in the first 24 hours.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was something that I was working on while I was in Europe on the Eras Tour. I just love it. I just love it a lot,\u201d Swift said of the record during the episode. \u201cI love music.\u201d<\/p>\n
