David Justice<\/strong>, ex-husband of Oscar winner<\/a> Halle Berry<\/a>,<\/strong> evidently had a few things to get off his chest about their relationship. The 59-year-old former baseball player, who was married to the actor from 1993 to 1997, spoke of his time with Berry during a recent guest appearance on Matt Barnes\u2019<\/strong> podcast, All the Smoke<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n Problems arose five months in, he said, when the honeymoon phase ended and the athlete began thinking about starting a family. \u201cMy knowledge and understanding, as well as my wisdom around relationships, just wasn\u2019t vast,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019m looking at my mom, and I\u2019m a Midwest guy, so in my mind I\u2019m thinking a wife at that time should cook, clean\u2014traditional, you know?\u201d The next question dawned on him naturally: \u201cOkay, if we have kids, is this the woman I want to have kids with and build a family with?\u201d The answer soon came to him: \u201cAt that time, as a young guy, she don\u2019t cook, don\u2019t clean, don\u2019t really seem, like, motherly.
