Jennifer Aniston is relieved Matthew Perry is no longer in pain<\/p>\n
The 56-year-old actress’ Friends co-star passed away from acute affects of ketamine in 2023 and Jennifer part of her is grateful her pal is no longer in “pain” due to the long battle he fought against addiction.<\/p>\n
She told the new issue of Vanity Fair magazine: \u201cWe did everything we could when we could.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut it almost felt like we\u2019d been mourning Matthew for a long time because his battle with that disease was a really hard one for him to fight. <\/p>\n
“As hard as it was for all of us and for the fans, there\u2019s a part of me that thinks this is better. I\u2019m glad he\u2019s out of that pain.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nJennifer is very proud of how much Friends has meant to people around the world.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cWhat helped raise me is something I got to put into the world and help other people. If [Friends] was the only thing on my r\u00e9sum\u00e9, I would be very happy and blessed.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe Morning Show actress isn’t afraid to speak up for herself in her career because she knows her “value”.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cAs a young actor, you can forget that you are the one who\u2019s earning income for the people around you.<\/p>\n
\n“[My manager Aleen Keshishian] would say, \u2018You\u2019re the boss. You pay us. Don\u2019t lose sight of your power in that. Don\u2019t become an a****** or b****, but don\u2019t lose your voice.’<\/p>\n
\n“If there\u2019s an area in my life where I have no fear, it\u2019s in my career\u2014of speaking up for what I want. I don\u2019t do it in a scary or mean way. I just know my value.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAlthough Jennifer has enjoyed success on both the big and small screen, she still has a number of career ambitions she wants to fill, including treading the boards on Broadway.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cGrowing up in New York City and seeing Annie, you just get swept into a fantasy world. I want to do that.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAnd the Cake star has never been interested in fame.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cI\u2019ve always been more into metaphysical things and \u2018What if there\u2019s something bigger out there than all of us?\u2019\u2009\u201d<\/p>\n
