\t\t<\/p>\n Ben Ahlers<\/strong><\/a> is opening up about The Gilded Age<\/strong><\/a><\/em> following the season three finale. <\/p>\n The 28-year-old actor portrays Jack Trotter, who was originally named John Treacher, in the HBO<\/strong><\/a> series, and has earned the nickname \u201cClock Twink\u201d on social media. <\/p>\n In a new interview, Ben<\/strong> dished on what he thinks about the nickname (his girlfriend weighs in too!), and he also gushed about his first meeting with Christine Baranski<\/strong><\/a>, who played his boss in the first two seasons. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cListen, I\u2019m a theater kid. If I\u2019m in the same conversation as \u2018Railroad Daddy,\u2019 I welcome it completely,\u201d Ben<\/strong> told Variety<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n If you don\u2019t know, \u201cRailroad Daddy\u201d refers to Morgan Spector<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s George Russell. <\/p>\n Ben<\/strong>\u2018s girlfriend, Broadway star Michaela Diamond<\/strong><\/a> loves the nickname, saying, \u201cNo complaints. 10 out of 10.\u201d<\/p>\n Ben<\/strong> also shared what it was like meeting co-star Christine Baranski<\/strong> for the first time. <\/p>\n \u201cWe had never met, and we were about to head to set one day and she was walking out of her dressing room and we crossed paths in the hallway,\u201d he recalled. \u201cShe looked me up and down and said, \u2018Boy, we are getting our money\u2019s worth with you.\u2019 I can die happy now.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cShe\u2019s the best, hands down. And she\u2019s so grateful, and still has this Buffalo, New York sense of humor,\u201d Ben<\/strong> added of working with Christine<\/strong>. \u201cShe likes to have a good time, and she brings great discipline to the work in a way that\u2019s informative and inspiring.
