\t\t<\/p>\n Zach Cregger<\/strong><\/a> is opening up about his relationship with David Fincher<\/strong><\/a>!<\/p>\n The 44-year-old comedian and actor stepped behind-the-scenes for the new horror movie Weapons<\/strong><\/a><\/em>, which marks his second time directing. <\/p>\n In a new interview, Zach <\/strong>opened about getting advice from fellow filmmaker David Fincher<\/strong><\/a> and why he thanked him in the movie\u2019s credits. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s just a very helpful guy. He was available to me during prep, and then he was very available during the post process,\u201d Zach<\/strong> told Variety<\/em>. \u201cHe watched the movie and had a lot of really constructive thoughts and gave me a ton of ideas. He helped me learn more about the editing process and how to think about it in a new way that wasn\u2019t available to me when I was making Barbarian<\/em>. So he just opened my mind up a lot.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThere are things I thought I had to just settle for. I thought, \u2018Well, that\u2019s the take I have. That\u2019s the best take. And it\u2019s not perfect, but by God, nothing is.\u2019 Dave<\/strong>\u2019s attitude is, \u2018It can always be better, and there are a lot of tools that you have at your disposal that you might not be thinking about.\u2019\u201d Zach <\/strong>added.\u201dSo, from reframing to stabilization to ADR to all sorts of things, it was really cool. Honestly, I learned a lot about how to prep, what lenses to use. I shot this mostly anamorphic, and I didn\u2019t quite respect how limiting anamorphic is in the post process.
