Mexico’s Alila Mayakoba is now accepting reservations starting in February 2026, offering a lavish escape to beat dreary winter blues.<\/p>\n

Travelers can now book the luxury hotel with cash or World of Hyatt<\/a> points for stays starting Feb. 12, 2026, according to the hotel<\/a>. The property is set to be the first Alila-branded resort in Latin America and the Caribbean, and it replaces the Andaz Mayakoba Resort Riviera Maya<\/a>, which closed earlier this year and was a TPG favorite.<\/p>\n

Rooms and suites at Alila Mayakoba feature a calming palette of light woods and stone, complemented by rainfall showers and floor-to-ceiling windows to let in natural light. Rooms look out on the ocean, lagoon, garden or golf course \u2014 some with their own private plunge pools for the ultimate relaxing getaway.<\/p>\n

Each room is spacious, ranging from 538 square feet to more than 4,500 square feet for the Alila beachfront presidential suite. That suite offers two bedrooms (each with its own private balcony and bathroom), a living and dining area, a private pool and butler service, all spread over two stories.<\/p>\n

The hotel is home to four on-site dining spaces, including The Beach Club, where guests are surrounded by palm trees, and Casa Amate, which treats diners to a farm-to-table experience aimed at celebrating the Yucatan Peninsula. There will also be a chef’s garden workshop where dishes will be paired with local wines and spirits.<\/p>\n

How to book Alila Mayakoba<\/h2>\n

When it opens, Alila Mayakoba will be a Category 6 property,<\/a> and it will be bookable starting at 21,000 points per night during off-peak dates. That rate goes up to 25,000 points per night during standard dates and 29,000 points per night during peak dates, per the World of Hyatt award chart<\/a>.<\/p>\n

From Feb. 13-15, 2026, right after the hotel opens, the rates for a weekend stay in a king bed lagoon view room start at $1,102 per night for World of Hyatt members and $1,353 per night for nonmembers, according to a TPG search. The same room is bookable for 14,500 points, plus $699 cash.<\/p>\n
