For the first time since his death, Ozzy Osbourne<\/strong>\u2019s son<\/a>, Jack Osbourne<\/strong>, is speaking out on social media.<\/p>\n On Wednesday, Aug. 6, Jack took to Instagram<\/a> to say he hasn\u2019t \u201creally wanted to post anything since the passing of my father. My heart has hurt too much.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m gonna keep this short because he certainly hated long rambling speeches,\u201d Jack continued. \u201cHe was so many things to so many people, but I was so lucky and blessed to be apart of a very small group that got to call him \u2018Dad\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cMy heart is full of so much sadness and sorrow, but also so much love and gratitude,\u201d he added. \u201cI got 14,501 days with that man and I know that is such a blessing.\u201d<\/p>\n Jack then shared a quote he believes \u201cbest describes my father.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cHunter S. Thompson once said: \u2018Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body\u2026but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, \u2018Wow! What a ride!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThat was my dad,\u201d Jack said. \u201cHe lived and he lived his life fully. I love you dad.\u201d<\/p>\n Jack\u2019s statement comes after his wife, Aree Osbourne<\/strong>, shared a statement<\/a> of her own on Aug. 3.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m pretty sure I have the coolest father-in-law around, and the best papa to my kids,\u201d she wrote, alongside pictures of their family. \u201cThe world got a rockstar but we got an ice lolly loving, goofy, big hearted guy who made us laugh like no other.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cHe was always in my corner and I forever am thankful to him for raising my husband and blessing me with my family. We got Nana always, Papa,\u201d Aree said of her mother-in-law, Sharon Osbourne<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201cKeep giving us all those signs from above. We\u2019ll keep your name loud, your stories alive, and your love wrapped around us like armor. Forever our guy.\u201d<\/p>\n Jack\u2019s sister, Kelly Osbourne<\/strong>, also shared a statement<\/a>, writing in part that she \u201csat down to write this a hundred times and still don\u2019t know if the world will ever feel like enough. But from the bottom of my heart, thank you.\u201d<\/p>\n Ozzy was laid to rest on July 30. His cause of death<\/a> has been labeled as \u201cout of hospital cardiac arrest\u201d and \u201cacute myocardial infarction.\u201d Coronary artery disease and Parkinson\u2019s disease with autonomic dysfunction were listed as \u201cjoint causes.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
