The 2025 MTV Video Music Award<\/em><\/strong> nominations are here \u2013 and it looks like it is going to be a star-studded affair!<\/p>\n Lady Gaga<\/strong><\/a> leads this year\u2019s list with 12 noms, including recognition in major categories like Video of the Year, Artist of the Year, and Best Album. She\u2019s aiming to add to her 18 VMA win total with more accolades this year. This also marks the third time in history that Gaga<\/strong> has topped this list of nominees! In the past, she also led the pack with 13 nominations back in 2010, and again in 2020, tying for the most with nine at that time.<\/p>\n Following close behind are Bruno Mars<\/strong><\/a> with 11 nominations and Kendrick Lamar<\/strong><\/a> with 10. ROS\u00c9<\/strong><\/a> and Sabrina Carpenter<\/strong><\/a> each scored eight nominations, while Ariana Grande<\/strong><\/a> and The Weeknd<\/strong><\/a> earned seven apiece. <\/p>\n Meanwhile, the race for the most VMA wins in history continues between Beyonc\u00e9<\/strong><\/a> and Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a>, who are both nominated for Artist of the Year (once again!)<\/p>\n Fans can now cast their votes in 19 categories at vote.mtv.com, with voting open until September 5 at 6 pm ET.
