\nShortly after turning 18 on July 29, the internet personality launched her own account on the explicit subscription service platform and says the money started flowing in immediately.<\/p>\n
\nShe posted a screenshot on Instagram of her earnings including $511,003.79 in subscriptions, $26,736.19 in tips and $486,558.11 in messages, adding up to over $1 million in total.<\/p>\n
\nShe wrote: \u201c$1M in 3 hours. We broke the f*** out of that onlyfans record . Come see content I took of myself at 12:01AM on my 18th BDAY. ONLY AVAILABLE FOR 24hrs.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nShe also wrote: \u201c$1M IN 3 HOURS. LIL TAY RICH AND FINNA GET RICHER.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nAnnouncing her account on the platform, Lil Tay previously posted a picture of herself wearing a \u2018pornstar in training\u2019 top and wrote: \u201cI DID IT. LINK IN BIO. ALL CONTENT SHOT @ 12:01AM ON MY 18th BIRTHDAY. Bday special only available for 24 hours. Come talk to me.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nLil Tay \u2013 whose real name is Claire Eileen Qi Hope – first found fame at just nine years old when her foulmouthed videos started going viral.<\/p>\n
\nShe later pivoted to rapping and has worked with stars including Bhad Bhabie, Jake Paul and Diplo.<\/p>\n
\nThe young star was embroiled in controversy in 2023 when someone posted a false statement on her Instagram account claimed she had died, along with her brother Jason Tian.<\/p>\n
\nThe statement said: \u201cIt is with a heavy heart that we share the devastating news of our beloved Claire\u2019s sudden and tragic passing. We have no words to express the unbearable loss and indescribable pain. This outcome was entirely unexpected, and has left us all in shock. Her brother\u2019s passing adds an even more unimaginable depth to our grief.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cDuring this time of immense sorrow, we kindly ask for privacy as we grieve this overwhelming loss. Claire will forever remain in our hearts, her absence leaving an irreplaceable void that will be felt by all who knew and loved her.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThere was confusion as her management appeared to confirm the death to Us Weekly, saying: \u201cWith profound regret, we confirm the accuracy of the statement.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nHowever, just one day later, Tay revealed she was alive and said she was \u201ctrying to sort out this mess\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nShe told TMZ: \u201cI want to make it clear that my brother and I are safe and alive, but I\u2019m completely heartbroken, and struggling to even find the right words to say. It\u2019s been a very traumatizing 24 hours. All day yesterday, I was bombarded with endless heartbreaking and tearful phone calls from loved ones all while trying to sort out this mess.\u201d<\/p>\n
