\t\t<\/p>\n The fate of two more late night shows has been revealed, according to a new report.<\/p>\n After The Late Show with Stephen Colbert<\/em> was canceled by CBS<\/a>, we now have additional reporting about what\u2019s going on behind-the-scenes with one NBC late night show: The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon<\/em>, and ABC\u2019s Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/em><\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Page Six<\/em><\/a> has a source that shared that both shows are safe \u2013 \u201cfor now.\u201d<\/p>\n Apparently, Jimmy Fallon<\/strong><\/a> signed a big extension through 2028. He\u2019ll continue hosting The Tonight Show<\/em>, and take on his new reality competition show for the network, On Brand<\/em>. He\u2019ll also continue appearing on Password<\/em>.<\/p>\n His show has not been immune to budget shifts.<\/p>\n \u201cSeth [Meyers]<\/strong><\/a> and Jimmy had budget cuts last year, which saw Jimmy <\/strong>go from five days a week to four days. He records Monday through Thursday and the show repeats on Friday,\u201d they shared.<\/p>\n Apparently, Jimmy Kimmel<\/strong><\/a> is also safe, even as he talks of retirement<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cEven if he was thinking of retirement, he most definitely will stay now,\u201d one source shared about the state of late night and Donald Trump<\/strong><\/a>, while another said, \u201c[Disney President] Dana [Walden] <\/strong>would never ax Kimmel<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
