\t\t<\/p>\n And Just Like That\u2026<\/strong><\/a><\/em> the show is over. <\/p>\n HBO Max<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s Sex and the City<\/strong><\/a><\/em> sequel series was just announced to be coming to an end after the current third season wraps up on the streamer, according to Deadline<\/a><\/em>. <\/p>\n The series will air a two-part finale, wrapping the 12-episode season. Showrunner Michael Patrick King<\/strong> reportedly informed the cast on Thursday (July 31), and has now released a statement to the press. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cAnd just like that\u2026 the ongoing storytelling of the Sex And The City<\/em> universe is coming to an end,\u201d Michael <\/strong>shared. \u201cWhile I was writing the last episode of And Just Like That\u2026<\/em> season 3, it became clear to me that this might be a wonderful place to stop. Along with Sarah Jessica Parker<\/strong><\/a>, Casey Bloys<\/strong> and Sarah Aubrey<\/strong>, we decided to end the popular series this year with a two-part finale and extended the original series order from 10 episodes to 12. SJP<\/strong> and I held off announcing the news until now because we didn\u2019t want the word \u2018final\u2019 to overshadow the fun of watching the season.
