Life & Style looked into what some of TikTok\u2019s fashion influencers are predicting when it comes to fall trends. Here\u2019s what we gathered.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe fashion world is officially hitting the great fashion factory reset,\u201d TikToker Priya Mia<\/strong><\/a> said in a July TikTok about fall fashion trends, adding that she\u2019s seeing \u201ca huge return to basics. The way the fashion cycle has been recently, with it speeding up the way that it has, people have become exhausted.\u201d<\/p>\n According to Data But Make It Fashion,<\/a> \u201cthe white tank top is more popular than ever, growing 27% daily.\u201d That\u2019s \u201c160% more popular than\u201d in June 2024.<\/p>\n Some fashion influencers are saying skinny jeans are continuing its comeback. \u201cMy favorite, most controversial jeans are still trending this year. If you got yourself a pair of skinny jeans last year, or you already have them, it\u2019s time to bring them back, because they\u2019re having another moment,\u201d TikToker Tina Somnia<\/strong> claimed<\/a>.<\/p>\n While the idea of skinny jeans can cause flashbacks for some, Somnia says not to worry because skinny boot cut jeans are classic that \u201cwill never go out of style.\u201d<\/p>\n Elevated <\/i>jean shorts are quickly becoming staples in the closets of the most fashionable. \u201cSpecifically jorts in a very classy\/dressed up style, [with] heels, or kitten heels. White on white with jorts is super chic,\u201d Priya Mia predicts.<\/p>\n It\u2019s time to take a look at your coat closet because you\u2019ll be using it a lot this year, according to TikTok\u2019s fashion elite.<\/p>\n From cropped trench coats to cape jackets, it\u2019s time to layer up.<\/p>\n Fashion major Mikayla<\/strong><\/a> says \u201ccropped trench coats\u201d are \u201cgoing to be one of, if not the \u2018it\u2019 piece of outerwear for the season.\u201d She also expects to see a lot of fringe. \u201cI\u2019m specifically seeing a lot of fringe on outerwear.\u201d<\/p>\n Nostalgia will also be in the air with the return of the poncho.<\/p>\n In addition to the cropped coats and the fringe jackets, Sominia adds that the cape or scarf jacket that trended last year \u201cwill make a comeback.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI think utility and barn jackets are going to be very popular,\u201d the owner of LAO Boutique noted<\/a>, \u201clike we saw a little bit of it last year. But this year, I think they\u2019re finally gonna have their moment.\u201d<\/p>\n In addition to the barn jacket, quilted jackets are also \u201cgoing to be very popular,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n Our wardrobes may be going back to the basics, but our shoes are ready to shine, literally.<\/p>\n \u201cShoes are making a big splash this summer,\u201d Priya Mia adds, noting silver metallic shoes have been all the rage. \u201cI like that. Everybody\u2019s saying, eyes down here, actually.\u201d<\/p>\n If your vibe is \u201ceasy cool girl,\u201d then Kimber<\/strong> says it \u201cis all about rugby T-shirts.\u201d<\/p>\n With so many ways to style it, the Rugby shirt makes for an \u201ceasy, transitional\u201d look as summer turns into fall, Kimber notes.<\/p>\n With everything that\u2019s in, what\u2019s out? According to Cat<\/strong><\/a>, the world will see less quiet luxury this year.<\/p>\n \u201cObviously quiet luxury isn\u2019t something that\u2019s ever going to be fully out.
