Andy Cohen<\/strong><\/a> is dishing on his recent appearance on And Just Like That<\/strong><\/a>\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n The Watch What Happens Live<\/strong><\/a><\/em> host joined his BFF Sarah Jessica Parker<\/strong><\/a> in the ninth episode of season three, titled, \u201cPresent Tense,\u201d where he played a shoe salesman named Daniel. Previously, Andy<\/strong> made a cameo in Sex and the City<\/strong><\/a><\/em> season six as a shoe salesman. <\/p>\n During a recent episode of his radio show, SiriusXM\u2019s Andy Cohen Live<\/em><\/a>, Andy<\/strong> opened up about his cameo and \u201cbad of an actor\u201d he is.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI thought it would be funny, I was talking to Amy Sedaris<\/strong><\/a>. Before I got the script, I thought it would be really funny if Carrie came up to the counter and I was like, \u2018Oh, hey Carrie. You\u2019re still past due on your bill,\u2019\u201d Andy <\/strong>said. \u201cI wanted to think of some shady improv line to break her up, but it turned out that was not the scene. It was really just me walking by her as it were, and so when we shot it, now it is documented what a bad actor I am and it was really, you know, when we shot it, I think the line in the script was just like, \u2018Oh, hey Carrie. I\u2019ll be with you in a sec,\u2019 and she\u2019s like, \u2018Okay, Daniel,\u2019 and that was kind of it.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThen we started to do it and it\u2019s very, shooting these shows for me is very difficult. You have to literally walk four steps, say your line at a particular spot, and then keep going,\u201d he continued. \u201cThere\u2019s a lot of blocking involved and I just don\u2019t, I\u2019m not good at it, but so she, so I started to do it a couple times, and then [showrunner] Michael Patrick King<\/strong> came out and said, \u2018Look, why don\u2019t you say to her, \u2018Hey, Carrie. I\u2019m slammed. I\u2019ll be with you in a minute.\u2019\u2019 So, I was like, \u2018Okay.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cSo, we did it a couple times and when I tell you, I was marching out and I\u2019m like, \u2018Carrie, I am slammed. I\u2019m gonna be with you in a minute,\u2019 and kept going, and so Michael Patrick King<\/strong> comes out after we do it twice and he goes, \u2018This is a really pivotal scene for Carrie.\u2019 He didn\u2019t tell me, but now I know that she had just had a big fight with Aidan [John Corbett<\/strong><\/a>] and it was a whole thing.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cSo he goes, \u2018You\u2019re stealing focus from Carrie.\u2019 He goes, \u2018The episode title should now be called \u2018Daniel\u2019s Busiest Day,\u2019 and it\u2019s not about Daniel\u2019s busiest day. Keep it on Carrie.\u2019 I was like, \u2018Oh, okay, okay.\u2019 He\u2019s like, \u2018Bring it down,\u2019 and then everybody wanted to get their hooks in me and tell me how to do it, and SJ<\/strong>\u2019s like, \u2018Andy<\/strong>, do it right here. You have to say the line here,\u2019\u201d Andy<\/strong> recalled. \u201cIt was very specific, and I was saying it in the wrong place. I was just a disaster, but it was so funny, the idea that it was Daniel\u2019s busy day, so the result that you saw, that\u2019s me kind of downplaying it.
