Scheana Shay has opened up about her new memoir<\/p>\n
The 40-year-old reality star has discussed her romance with Jesse in My Good Side, her new memoir, but she didn’t feel the need to give him any kind of warning.<\/p>\n
Scheana – who is now married to Brock Davies – told E! News: “I don’t say anything bad about any of these guys that I felt like I needed to give them a heads up on.<\/p>\n
“The only person I had to sit down with was [ex-husband Mike] Shay. I wanted to tell him about it in person. That was the only person I really felt I owed a conversation to.”<\/p>\n
Scheana actually had the opportunity to discuss her memoir with Jesse prior to its release. However, she ultimately decided against it.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: “I’ve ran into Jesse Metcalfe a few times recently at events and I’ve said ‘hi’.<\/p>\n
\n“I met his girlfriend. The last time I ran into him, it was the night before we were announcing the book and I made a joke to Brock\u2014they’ve played poker together before too. I was like, ‘Do I tell Jesse he’s in the book?’ And he’s like, ‘You’re joking, right?’<\/p>\n
\n“I’m not gonna go and be like, ‘By the way, nice to meet your girlfriend, you’re in my book.'”<\/p>\n
\nScheana has previously dated the likes of John Mayer, Shemar Moore, Shane West, Jesse McCartney, and Adrian Grenier. And Scheana insists she doesn’t regret discussing her love life in the memoir.<\/p>\n
\nThe TV star joked: “Those were some fun times. And even though I am a married mother writing this book, it wouldn’t be a complete memoir if I didn’t touch on my Hollywood hoe days, because it was like six years of those.”<\/p>\n
\nMeanwhile, Jesse recently revealed that he regrets being mentioned in Scheana’s memoir.<\/p>\n
\nThe 46-year-old actor – who dated the reality TV star back in 2007 – told E! News: “I run into Scheana from time to time at events and stuff like that. She’s a super sweet girl and I\u2019m happy for her success. I guess it\u2019s a story worthy of print, but it\u2019s not a story for me.”<\/p>\n
