TikTok has been making it easier for users to save the songs they hear in video clips on the platform to their choice of music streaming platform. The short video service today added YouTube Music as an option to this list.<\/p>\n
The company first introduced this feature in the U.S. and the U.K. with support for Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music in November 2023<\/a>. In February 2024, it rolled out this feature to more than 160 countries across the globe<\/a>. Over time, TikTok has added Deezer and SoundCloud as music streaming options as well.<\/p>\n Users can now tap the \u201cAdd Song\u201d button below the clip description, next to the track name, and select YouTube Music. Users can select their preferred music streaming service, which will become the default for saving songs, or change it from the \u201cMusic\u201d menu in Settings.<\/p>\n Once you add a song, it will be added to the TikTok Songs playlist on YouTube Music.<\/p>\n \u201cAdd to Music App continues to deliver real results for the music industry, with hundreds of millions of track saves translating into billions of streams on music streaming services,\u201d said Tracy Gardner, TikTok\u2019s Global Head of Music Business Development, in a statement.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
