Steven McBee Jr.<\/strong> and Calah Jackson<\/strong>\u2019s relationship drama<\/a> came to a head on the latest episode of The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys<\/em><\/a> \u2014 but are they really broken up?<\/p>\n

During the Monday, July 28, episode of the Bravo series, Steven brought Calah to the Ozarks with his family, claiming they were just friends. Everyone got along at the start of the trip, but tension began to rise when Steven asked his mom to cosign on an apartment for Calah in Dallas.<\/p>\n

\u201cAm I a dumb bitch for going? Probably,\u201d Calah confessed during the episode, before noting she still wanted to go on the vacation. She later told Cole McBee<\/strong>\u2019s girlfriend, Kacie Adkison<\/strong>, that she and Steven \u201csometimes\u201d have sex despite being broken up.<\/p>\n

Once alcohol got involved, Calah and Steven\u2019s younger brother Cole<\/a> got into a heated exchange after she claimed Steven has had an \u201ceasy\u201d life. Cole defended his big brother, who took over as CEO of McBee Farm & Cattle after their dad, Steve McBee<\/strong><\/a>, stepped down sometime in 2024<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Steven didn\u2019t come to Calah\u2019s defense, later telling the cameras that she is \u201cthe definition of a mean drunk.\u201d When things escalated, Steven had Cole\u2019s back, leaving Calah in tears.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have so much tea on this family. If I wanted to, I could bury them,\u201d Calah threatened during her confessional after leaving the vacation house.<\/p>\n

While it seemed like the end of their relationship, Steven previously revealed that he and Calah had broken up \u201c15 or 16\u201d times since they started dating in 2021<\/a>. (The pair met on Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer<\/em><\/a>, which aired in 2022.)<\/p>\n

Steven, however, exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em><\/a> this month that they have remained broken up since filming wrapped at the end of 2024.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe way that you see the rest of season 2 shaping out are the real conversations Calah and I have at the end,\u201d Steven explained, confirming that their breakup tally is in the \u201cdouble digits.\u201d<\/p>\n

He noted during the season 2 finale, fans will see how they end their rocky romance. \u201cYou\u2019ll see how that all plays out and we\u2019ve really been broken up since then,\u201d Steven shared.<\/p>\n

Things quickly turned sour after Colton shaded Cassie\u2019s decision to do an interview with Chris Harrison during the [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The farmer claimed he and Calah have \u201ca tremendous amount of respect for each other and still hold each other in the highest regard,\u201d but reiterated, \u201cWe\u2019ve been separated since then.\u201d<\/p>\n

Looking back at his and Calah\u2019s relationship \u2014 especially at how involved his family became toward the end \u2014 Steven said he does regret blurring the lines.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m very, very open with my family about things that are going on, and I\u2019ve realized, especially watching it back now, that is not always to the benefit of a relationship,\u201d Steven told Us<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Steven admitted, \u201cThere was definitely some foot-in-mouth moments without a doubt that I regret. I wish I would\u2019ve held things tighter to my chest.\u201d<\/p>\n

Although Steven told Us<\/em> he is single, he revealed that once the show premiered in June, he contacted Calah.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere was a moment where we watched the first couple episodes a couple months ago, just seeing \u2019em for the first time, and whenever I left, I called Calah,\u201d Steven said, referring to when he advised his siblings not to reach out to Calah in May when her sister died<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He later confessed that the \u201ctiming\u201d was bad, but he and Calah had broken up days before her sister passed and he thought it was the right decision to keep his family away from her.<\/p>\n
