We ain\u2019t gonna mention no names, but I\u2019m one of them,\u201d Anderson joked.<\/p>\n<p>Later in the interview, he told the audience \u201cright now, we\u2019re about to get our freak on\u201d and scooched closer to Lohan on the couch, wrapping his arms around her.<\/p>\n<p>That was a clumsy reference to <em>Freaky Friday<\/em>. He regrets if the humor was in poor taste and maintains the utmost respect for Lindsay,\u201d his rep told <em>Entertainment Weekly<\/em> in a stern <a href=\"https:\/\/ew.com\/anthony-anderson-responds-lindsay-lohan-interview-11779022\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">statement<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, folks on social media are quick to point out that Anthony was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2004\/LAW\/07\/28\/actor.rape.charge\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">accused of rape<\/a> just a year after this interview. That\u2019s an upsetting topic in any context.<\/p>\n<p>It is true that it was sometimes considered \u201cnormal\u201d to speak in a flirtatious manner to minors during interviews back in the day. <\/p>\n<p>It famously happened to Britney Spears. That doesn\u2019t make it not gross!
