minutes<\/span><\/span><\/p>\nNFL legend and Colorado Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders made a surprising revelation during a press conference today.<\/p>\n
The 57-year-old explained that he\u2019d been keeping a low profile in recent months because he was battling bladder cancer.<\/p>\n

(Photo by Stacy Revere\/Getty Images)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\nBut the good news is that Sanders is now in remission and ready to resume full-time coaching duties ahead of the Buffaloes\u2019 2025 season.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s been a tremendous journey,\u201d Sanders told reporters during a press conference today. \u201cIt\u2019s been tough.\u201d<\/p>\n
Sanders revealed that he had lost 25 pounds and \u201ccan\u2019t pee like I used to pee,\u201d but he appeared to be in good spirits. <\/p>\n
\u201cI depend on Depends,\u201d he joked at one point, before encouraging men of all ages to get screened for cancer.<\/p>\n

Sanders first revealed he was dealing with health issues during a podcast interview with fellow NFl legend Asante Samuel.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhat I\u2019m dealing with right now is at a whole \u2018nother level,\u201d Deion said back in the spring, declining to go into detail.<\/p>\n

\u201cI always knew I was going to coach again,\u201d he told reporters today.<\/p>\n
The 2025 football season promises to be an exciting one for the Sanders family.<\/p>\n
In addition to Deion\u2019s third season as Buffaloes head coach, son Shedeur Sanders is poised to make his debut at quarterback for the Cleveland Browns.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Deion\u2019s eldest son, Shiloh Sanders was just signed to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent.<\/p>\n
The Sanders are one of football\u2019s most entertaining families, and we couldn\u2019t be happier to hear that their patriarch is on the mend!<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
