Throughout his career, Williams was open about his battles against addiction and depression. In a 2021 interview<\/a> on the \u201cGenius Life\u201d podcast, his son Zak<\/strong> also spoke about his father\u2019s final weeks.<\/p>\n\u201cThere was a focus issue, that frustrated him. There were issues associated with how he felt. And also from a neurological perspective, he didn\u2019t he feel great,\u201d Zak revealed. \u201cThere was just more anxiety and depression and just things he was experiencing and talking to me about that made me realize he was very uncomfortable.\u201d<\/p>\n
Williams was diagnosed with Parkinson\u2019s before his death, though his autopsy later revealed he had Lewy body disease. \u201cWhat he was going through didn\u2019t match one to one [with] many Parkinson\u2019s patients\u2019\u2026experience,\u201d Zak explained. \u201cHe felt frustrated.\u201d<\/p>\n
