(Photo by VALERIE MACON\/AFP via Getty Images)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In a statement about the renewal, per <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2025\/tv\/news\/ted-lasso-renewed-season-4-jason-sudeikis-returning-1236336902\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Variety<\/em><\/a>, Sudeikis said: \u201cAs we all continue to live in a world where so many factors have conditioned us to \u2018look before we leap,\u2019 in season four, the folks at AFC Richmond learn to LEAP BEFORE THEY LOOK, discovering that wherever they land, it\u2019s exactly where they\u2019re meant to be.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As for Season 4 of <em>Ted Lasso<\/em>, what will be the storyline? Here\u2019s the official logline from Apple: Ted returns to Richmond, taking on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second division women\u2019s football team. I was hankering and hankering and hankering and hankering to see where Rebecca had gone, where she was going to. She\u2019s my girl. She\u2019s in my bloodstream, so I\u2019m thrilled that it\u2019s been exhumed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She continued, \u201cI can\u2019t wait to get involved with that and put my penneth in and go shopping for her looks.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The show is also welcoming an incredible lineup of new talent: <strong>Tanya Reynolds<\/strong> (<em>Sex Education<\/em>), <strong>Jude Mack<\/strong> (<em>Such Brave Girls<\/em>), <strong>Faye Marsay<\/strong> (<em>Adolescence<\/em>), <strong>Aisling Sharkey<\/strong> (<em>Jurassic World Dominion<\/em>), <strong>Abbie Hern<\/strong> (<em>My Lady Jane<\/em>), and newcomer, <strong>Rex Hayes<\/strong>. Their roles remain under wraps.
