A mother of one of the victims in the Idaho University murders had a chilling message to their killer, Bryan Kohberger<\/strong>, following his life prison sentence.<\/p>\n

\u201cA dead killer doesn\u2019t kill again. So while I\u2019m disappointed that the firing squad won\u2019t take their shots at you, I\u2019m confident the men in prison will have their way with you in more ways than one,\u201d Kristi Goncalves<\/strong>, who was the mother of victim Kaylee Goncalves<\/strong>, said to Kohberger, 30 in court on Wednesday, July 23, per a video shared via X<\/a>. \u201cYou will finally get what you wanted, physical touch, just probably not how you were expecting it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kristi continued: \u201cSee you haven\u2019t beat the system, you\u2019ve simply entered a new one where the rules are cruel and the consequences will never end. You are entering a place where no one will care about who you are and no one will ever respect you. You will be forgotten, discarded, used and erased. You will always be remembered as a loser and an absolute failure.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added that she hopes that the \u201csilence echoes in your heart for the rest of your meaningless days.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tBryan Kohberger will be spending the rest of his life in prison. The 30-year-old was sentenced to four lifetimes in prison on Wednesday, July 23, more than two years after he murdered Idaho University students Maddie Mogen, Kaylee Goncalves, Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin in their Moscow, Idaho, home. Wednesday\u2019s sentence came from Ada County [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI hope it reminds you of what we all already know, you are nothing,\u201d she said. \u201cMay you continue to live your life in misery. You are officially the property of the state of Idaho, where your fellow inmates are anxiously awaiting your arrival. But it\u2019s OK cause they\u2019re there to help you. Hell will be waiting.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kristi shared that she also had a message for Kohberger from her youngest daughter, Aubrie.<\/p>\n

\u201cAubrey wanted to say, \u2018You may have received As in high school and college, but you\u2019re going to be getting big Ds in prison,\u2019\u201d she quipped.<\/p>\n

After concluding her speech, Kohberger blinked before returning to his stoic expression.<\/p>\n

Kohberger was sentenced to four lifetimes in prison<\/a> on Wednesday for the murders of Kaylee, Madison Mogen<\/strong>, Xana Kernodle<\/strong> and Ethan Chapin<\/strong>. The group of students from Idaho University were stabbed to death<\/a> by Kohberger in their home in Moscow, Idaho, in November 2022. Dylan Mortensen<\/strong> and Bethany Funke<\/strong> also lived in the house and were present for the murders. They survived the attack.<\/p>\n

Kohberger, who was a criminology PhD student at Washington State University at the time of the murders, was arrested in December 2022. The crime garnered interest across the United States and was the subject of a docuseries titled \u201cOne Night in Idaho.\u201d<\/p>\n
