Switching it up! <\/span>Lindsay Lohan<\/a> has tried out countless lock looks since appearing in<\/span> <\/span>Freaky Friday<\/a><\/em> in 2003, and she has celebrity hairstylist Danielle Priano to thank for her recent voluminous blonde \u2018dos.<\/span><\/p>\n

The hair guru is responsible for the actress’ high ponytails, loose waves, sleek blowouts, and most recently, her curls for the <\/span>Freakier Friday<\/em><\/a> premiere in Los Angeles, California on July 22.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Lindsay’s look at the original<\/span> Freaky Friday<\/span><\/em> premiere was very much of that moment \u2014 think bold, chunky highlights, side bangs, and lots of playful texture. It had that early 2000s edge that matched the teen rock vibe of the film. \u2026 Everyone wanted that high-contrast blonde pop,” she tells ET.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“For <\/span>Freakier Friday<\/span><\/em>, we wanted her look to be evolved and radiant. \u2026 The goal was to create a modern, elevated style that felt effortless,” she continues.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

While Lohan has since ditched the streaked highlight trend, she is not afraid to experiment with her mane.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Lindsay is so open and down to try new things. \u2026 Since she\u2019s been in the industry for so long, she’s super in tune with her face shape and hair needs, so even when we push the boundaries, it always feels authentic,”\u00a0Priano explains.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As for how the duo masters this: “We always start by talking about what she’s wearing and the kind of statement she wants to make. From there, we bounce ideas back and forth and land on something that feels true to her and appropriate for the occasion,” she notes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The beauty expert\u2019s next mission? “While Lindsay typically prefers to wear her hair down, I’d love to incorporate more playful updos for that fresh vibe.”<\/span><\/p>\n
