Summer is flying by, but for fans of The Voice<\/em><\/a>, that means season 28 is getting closer by the minute.<\/p>\n

NBC announced in May that the long-running singing competition would return for another installment after season 27 saw coach Michael Bubl\u00e9<\/strong> emerge victorious with artist Adam David<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s no losing when you get to be on this show,\u201d Bubl\u00e9, who is one of the coaches returning in season 28, told Entertainment Tonight<\/em><\/a> after his win. \u201cI got to work with the most beautiful artists, and I sat beside my favorite musicians on the planet. People like John Legend<\/strong> and Adam Levine<\/strong> and Kelsea Ballerini<\/strong>, who were gracious and humble and funny and smart and are so talented, and so there was not a day that I didn\u2019t feel like I was winning.\u201d<\/p>\n

When Does \u2018The Voice\u2019 Season 28 Premiere?<\/h2>\n

The Voice<\/em> season 28 is slated to start airing sometime in September, although an exact premiere date has not been announced. It is expected to return to its usual Monday night at 8 p.m. ET time slot, with a possible return to its Tuesday night at 8 or 9 p.m. ET slot.<\/p>\n

Who Are the Coaches on \u2018The Voice\u2019 Season 28?<\/h2>\n

Snoop Dogg<\/strong> was the first coach to be announced as part of the coaching lineup for season 28. His involvement came as part of a multiyear deal with NBCUniversal alongside his production company, Death Row Pictures, Deadline<\/em><\/a> reported in April.<\/p>\n

\u201cNot everyone has the courage and vision to see what Death Row Pictures can bring to the table, but Donna [Langley] and the NBCUniversal team have always understood, which is why I am proud to call NBCUniversal my new home,\u201d the rapper said in a statement at the time. \u201cThe Dogg has officially moved into the neighborhood, ya dig?\u201d<\/p>\n

Snoop previously made his debut as a coach on The Voice<\/em> in season 26 and expressed interest in returning.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been a great experience for me,\u201d he told host Carson Daly<\/strong> at the end of his inaugural season. \u201cI didn\u2019t know what I was signing on to, but I do know it feels like I could come back and do it again.\u201d<\/p>\n

The remaining three coaches were announced the following month.<\/p>\n
