yet another platform.<\/p>\n<p>About a month after we learned that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2025\/06\/meghan-markle-podcast-fate-revealed-will-it-return\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Markle\u2019s podcast would not be returning<\/a> with new episodes, The Sun has confirmed that these polarizing figures will NOT have their contracts renewed by Netflix, either.<\/p>\n<p>As you might recall, Harry and Meghan signed a $100 million, five-year deal with the company in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>As part of this deal, the spouses sat down for a documentary in 2022, Harry released a scarcely-watched series about polo and Markle came out with a critically-lambasted program titled \u201cWith Love, Meghan.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><noscript><\/noscript><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"525\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2025\/03\/meghan-markles-netflix-show-renewed-for-season-2-despite-harsh-criticism\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>will<\/em> be a second season of Markle\u2019s show<\/a>, as this decision was reached while the couple was still under contract with Netflix.<\/p>\n<p>To be clear, they are perfectly welcome to work again with the platform at any point in the future \u2014 such deals will simply be negotiated on a case-by-case basis instead of relying on a signed, overall agreement that is in place.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNetflix feel they\u2019ve got all they can from the couple,\u201d an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/royals\/35969847\/prince-harry-meghan-netflix-deal-axed\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">insider told The Sun<\/a> this week. \u201cNetflix were clever in that they got a hell of a lot of viewers for the first documentary series, and knew, realistically, it would prove the zenith of content from the Montecito pair.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019re not unhappy with how things turned out \u2014 they got those initial hits, and produced one of the most talked-about shows of all time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The report went \u201cWith Love, Meghan,\u201d which was filmed in the community where she lives with her family. <\/p>\n<p>In the first season, she hosted friends such as Mindy Kaling and shared her cooking, entertaining and lifestyle tips and tricks.<\/p>\n<p>Of late, however, Markle has been dedicating most of her time to her lifestyle brand, As Ever, with its wine business <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2025\/07\/meghan-markle-as-ever-rose-launch-sells-out\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">showing signs of major success<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Netflix is aware, according to The Sun, that this brand is now Markle\u2019s \u201cpriority\u201d and Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos is \u201cbelieved to remain on good terms with Meghan.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As for Harry, though?
