Anne Hathaway<\/strong>\u2014or perhaps we should say Andrea Sachs\u2014could not have chosen a better outfit to announce her return to the screen in the highly anticipated sequel to The Devil Wears Prada<\/em>. Was it a little black sheath dress by Chanel? A tailored suit created by Dolce&Gabbana? A long dress by Oscar de la Renta? None of the above.<\/p>\n

Instead, Hathaway searched the back of her closet for a notorious garment: the first film\u2019s famous \u201clumpy blue sweater,\u201d which, in the words of Meryl Streep<\/strong>\u2019s Miranda Priestley, is \u201cactually cerulean … fished out of some clearance bin.\u201d Hathaway donned the sweater to announce the start of filming for The Devil Wears Prada 2<\/em> in a brief TikTok that evokes the opening scenes of the film\u2014where Andrea wakes up before dawn and, still sleepy, runs to the office, putting on the first thing she finds because has been called in by the dreaded Runway<\/em> editor.<\/p>\n

According to on-set photos, it seems Andy\u2019s style has evolved since the original film. The very first outfit captured by photographers has a decidedly casual feel: a long, on-trend denim skirt with a light wash and frayed hem, matched with a basic white top and, for a glam touch, a black vest coordinated with her Chanel signature wedge sandals. It\u2019s completed by a pair of Khartoum sunglasses by the brand L.G.R, and a newspaper Andy clutches in her hands. But where is Runway<\/em>?<\/p>\n
