The company plans to offer more than 36 million shares of class A stock that are expected to be priced between $25 and $28 a share. This offering includes a mix of primary and secondary shares and would allow the company to raise around $1 billion.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company is expected to price its IPO the week of July 28.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If the company prices its shares in the middle of its range, it will garner a market value of $15.9 billion, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.renaissancecapital.com\/IPO-Center\/News\/112260\/Web-design-tool-Figma-sets-terms-for-$979-million-IPO\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">according to Renaissance Capital<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That valuation is less than the <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2022\/09\/15\/how-about-that-20b-figma-adobe-deal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">$20 billion that Adobe offered<\/a> to acquire Figma for in September 2022, but more than the company\u2019s last private valuation of $12.5 billion, according to PitchBook data.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Figma <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2025\/04\/15\/figma-ignores-the-fear-files-paperwork-for-an-ipo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">initially filed its intent<\/a> to go public back in April.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company was founded in 2012 by Dylan Field and Evan Wallace.
