\t\t<\/p>\n Johnny Depp<\/strong><\/a> has signed on to a different kind of project. <\/p>\n The 62-year-old actor and musician has joined Ridley Scott<\/strong><\/a> on the upcoming graphic novel series \u201cHyde<\/em><\/strong>,\u201d according to Variety<\/a><\/em>. <\/p>\n Based on the Robert LOuis Stevenson novella, \u201cStrange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde,\u201d the graphic novel series is set to launch on Halloween this year. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n As part of his involvement, Mr Hyde will share Johnny<\/strong>\u2018s likeness, and the actor will \u201cprovide his input into every part of the property, especially the character of Hyde.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cHyde,\u201d created by Mechanical Cake CEO Jesse Negron<\/strong>, chronicles the \u201clife of Mr Hyde after he has triumphed over his Dr. Jekyll alter ego,\u201d and the character will \u201c\u2018freely explore his dark tendencies with uninhibited abandon,\u2019 as the character hides out in the sewers of London, using a serum to transform other people into more Hydes.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cTo build within the world of Robert Louis Stevenson<\/strong>\u2019s masterful characters and to be welcomed into the vision of Ridley Scott<\/strong>\u2026 and inexplicably having the opportunity to explore, it\u2019s surprising to me,\u201d Johnny <\/strong>shared in a statement. \u201cAnd hopefully surprising to him.
