\t\t<\/p>\n John Oliver<\/strong><\/a> is the latest talk show host to react to the cancelation of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert<\/strong><\/a><\/em>!<\/p>\n The 48-year-old Last Week Tonight host spoke to reporters over the weekend and shared his thoughts on CBS\u2019 surprise decision last week<\/a>. <\/p>\n John<\/strong> has been longtime friends with Stephen Colbert<\/strong><\/a>, and finds the controversial decision \u201cincredibly sad.\u201d <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cObviously, I love Stephen<\/strong>, I love his staff, I love that show \u2014 it\u2019s incredibly sad,\u201d he said, via THR<\/a><\/em>. \u201cI\u2019m partly excited to see what they\u2019re gonna do for the next 10 months. It\u2019s terrible, terrible news for the world of comedy.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cLate-night shows mean a lot to me, not just because I work in them, because even growing up in England, I would watch [Dave] Letterman<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s show, which of course was Stephen<\/strong>\u2019s show, and think about what a glamorous world that was,\u201d John <\/strong>added. \u201cSo to have got to have been on Letterman<\/strong>\u2019s show and Stephen<\/strong>\u2019s show was always one of the most fun things. So it\u2019s very, very, very sad news.
