\t\t<\/p>\n Kevin Feige<\/strong><\/a> is speaking out about the Jonathan Majors<\/strong><\/a> controversy affecting the Marvel Cinematic Universe<\/strong><\/a>. <\/p>\n The Marvel Studios President recently spoke to press about the future of the MCU and for the first time publicly, addressed losing Kang the Conqueror, the villain Majors<\/strong> was set to portray in more movies post Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania<\/a><\/em>, including being the main villain in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty<\/em>.<\/p>\n However, following being found guilty for assault and harrasment<\/a> in 2023, Jonathan<\/strong> was dropped by Marvel<\/a> and the forthcoming film was later retooled to Avengers: Doomsday<\/em> to center on Doctor Doom<\/a>. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cWe had started even before what had happened to the actor happened, we had started to realize that Kang wasn\u2019t big enough, wasn\u2019t Thanos, and that there was only one character that could be that, because he was that in the comics for decades and decades,\u201d Kevin<\/strong> told reporters, via THR<\/a><\/em>. <\/p>\n \u201cBecause of the Fox acquisition, we finally had it, and it was Dr. Doom. So we had started talking about Dr. Doom even before we officially pivoted from Kang,\u201d he continued. \u201cAnd in fact, I had started talking with Robert [Downey Jr.]<\/strong><\/a> about this audacious idea before Ant-Man 3<\/em> even came out.
