\nShe has referred to the residence as a \u201cluxury prison\u201d, according to Page Six, and is understood to be seeking legal release from the guardianship arrangement. <\/p>\n
\nTwo of Wendy\u2019s attorneys joined her for her birthday meal, along with her former producers from The Wendy Williams Show, Suzanne Bass and Brendan Higgins.<\/p>\n
\nA source added to Page Six: \u201cShe got emotional when she blew out her candles. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cEveryone seemed happy to see her and she looked amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nWendy was said to have appeared in high spirits throughout the night, dining on a lavish spread that included seafood towers, caviar, Caesar salad and filet mignon. <\/p>\n
\nShe was also presented with a birthday baked Alaska, and designer Zang Toi, who was also dining at Delmonico\u2019s, took a moment to wish Wendy a happy birthday before leaving the restaurant.<\/p>\n
\nThough Wendy has faced considerable personal and medical difficulties in recent years, the birthday outing seemed to reflect a sense of renewed energy and determination, according to insiders,<\/p>\n
\nOne added to Page Six: \u201cShe was beaming and sans scooter. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cShe\u2019s confident her lawyers are going to get her out of (her guardianship.)\u201d<\/p>\n
\nWendy, once a dominant force in daytime television, stepped away from the spotlight in 2021 amid ongoing health concerns. <\/p>\n
