Kelly Clarkson<\/strong><\/a> knows all too well that when it comes to entertaining the masses, Taylor\u00a0<\/a><\/strong>Swift\u00a0<\/strong><\/a>is<\/span>\u00a0in a class of her own.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you tour, like, you have to take everything in trucks. So, you have to pay for all that,\u201d Clarkson, 43, quipped during her Friday, July 18, concert in Las Vegas, per social media footage<\/a>. \u201cYou can\u2019t really pay for seven guitars on stage \u2018cause you make no money.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cUnless you\u2019re Taylor Swift, then you can do whatever the f*** you want. For the rest of us minions, [it doesn\u2019t] work.\u201d<\/p>\n

Swift, 35, is, notably, a billionaire whose historic, three-hour Eras Tour <\/i><\/a>broke all sorts of records when she traveled the globe from 2023 to 2024.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tKelly Clarkson knows it\u2019s nice to have a friend like Taylor Swift. \u201cShe just sent me flowers,\u201d Clarkson, 41, told E! News in an interview published on Thursday, November 9. \u201cShe\u2019s so nice. She did. She was like, \u2018Every time I release something\u2019 \u2014 because she just did 1989. I got that really cute cardigan, [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cThere were so many stadium tours this summer, but the only ones that were compared were me and Beyonc\u00e9<\/strong>,\u201d Swift told TIME <\/i><\/a>in a December 2023 profile, comparing Eras <\/i>to Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s Renaissance Tour. <\/i>\u201cClearly it\u2019s very lucrative for the media and stan culture to pit two women against each other, even when those two artists in question refuse to participate in that discussion.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cIf we have to speak stereotypically about the feminine and the masculine, women have been fed the message that what we naturally gravitate toward \u2026 girlhood, feelings, love, breakups, analyzing those feelings, talking about them nonstop, glitter [and] sequins. We\u2019ve been taught that those things are more frivolous than the things that stereotypically gendered men gravitate toward, right?\u201d<\/p>\n

Swift wrapped Eras <\/i>in December 2024, shortly before Beyonc\u00e9, 43, concluded Renaissance. <\/i>The former Destiny\u2019s Child singer has since launched her <\/a>Cowboy Carter Tour<\/a>, <\/i>which kicked off <\/i>earlier this summer.<\/p>\n

As for Clarkson, she began her Studio Sessions <\/i>residency<\/a> in Las Vegas in July.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a very different show that Caesars\u2019 is letting us do,\u201d she quipped on Friday. \u201cThey let us, kind of, do what we wanted, and this was my dream. I like getting all dolled up and I like the gowns, but I wanted y\u2019all to be able to experience this with us.\u201d<\/p>\n
