In the grand scheme of tech company scandals<\/a>, the Astronomer kiss cam situation<\/a> feels pretty lightweight. As far as we know, the cozy proximity of Astronomer\u2019s then-CEO Andy Byron<\/strong> and then-head of HR Kristin Cabot<\/strong> at a Massachusetts Coldplay show is not<\/em> a case of sexual harassment<\/a>, unlike far less viral cases at places like Uber<\/a> and Google<\/a>. It wasn\u2019t an allegedly drug-fueled night that ended in a fatal fight between two tech founders<\/a>, as was claimed<\/a> after Cash App founder Bob Lee was slain. It wasn\u2019t even an alleged love triangle<\/a> between the founder of the world\u2019s most popular search engine, the world\u2019s richest man, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr.<\/strong>\u2019s future running mate<\/a>: That was Google\u2019s Sergey Brin<\/strong>, Elon Musk<\/strong>, and Nicole Shanahan<\/strong>. And yet, this is the one we can\u2019t look away from. The entire world has supplanted Gillette Stadium\u2019s Jumbotron.<\/p>\n Perhaps that\u2019s why Astronomer claims it\u2019s taking a step that other companies, like Google, haven\u2019t. In 2013, the search giant had its own alleged adultery scandal<\/a>, when Brin (there he is again!) split from then-wife\/23andMe founder<\/a> Anne Wojcicki,<\/strong> after an alleged affair with Amanda Rosenberg<\/strong>, then the marketing manager for flop product Google Glass<\/a>.<\/p>\n
