Jalen Hurts<\/strong><\/a> has won the hearts of Philadelphia Eagles fans with his impressive work on the football field \u2014 but he found his true love in Alabama.<\/p>\n

The Eagles quarterback turned heads while playing for the University of Alabama from 2016 to 2018. However, off the field, he only had eyes for Bryonna \u201cBry\u201d Burrows<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The pair began dating in college before Hurts transferred to University of Oklahoma in 2019. Hurts kept his romance off social media before and after he was drafted by the Eagles<\/a> in 2020. However, when his team won the NFC Championship in January 2023, Burrows joined him on the field to celebrate.<\/p>\n

The couple, who got engaged in September 2024<\/a>, have continued to keep their romance as private as possible, as evidenced by Hurts\u2019 sly acknowledgment that the couple had recently gotten married in an April 2025 profile in Men\u2019s Health<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

College <\/strong><\/h3>\n

The twosome met at the University of Alabama sometime between 2016 and 2018, while Hurts was in school and playing football. After three seasons, Hurts transferred to Oklahoma to finish out his college football career.<\/p>\n

Burrows, meanwhile, finished her undergraduate education at Alabama in 2017 with a degree in Spanish and political science. She remained at the university for several years and eventually earned her MBA from the school of business.<\/p>\n

While they were both at Alabama, Hurts and Burrows were involved in Greek life. He was part of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity while Burrows was in the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority.<\/p>\n

While neither Hurts nor Burrows post frequent Instagram tributes to one another, she is often on the sidelines at his biggest events, including the 2023 Super Bowl. He noted he \u201cknew a long time ago\u201d that Burrows was The One. \u201cI mean, to this point in my life, that\u2019s an irreplaceable feeling,\u201d Hurts added. \u201cI think that\u2019s what allowed us to get where we are now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Burrows sparked engagement speculation on September 6 when she was spotted wearing a diamond ring<\/a>\u00a0on her left hand before an Eagles game. ESSENCE<\/em><\/a> broke the news on September 13 that Hurts had proposed to his longtime girlfriend on a beach surrounded by candles and red roses.<\/p>\n

Later that month, the newly-engaged couple stepped out on the red carpet for Prime Video\u2019s The Evolution of the Black Quarterback<\/em> premiere in New York City. Hurts is one of many Black athletes heavily featured in the series.<\/p>\n

After Hurts led the Eagles to his NFC Championship on January 26, Burrows was by his side to reap the spoils. The pair were photographed walking hand-in-hand<\/a> after the team\u2019s victory, which sent Hurts to his second Super Bowl game in four seasons.<\/p>\n

Prior to the Big Game, Hurts spoke about Burrows during a press conference.<\/p>\n

For their first red carpet appearance since getting married, Hurts and Burrows decided to go big by attending the 2025 Met Gala in New York City.<\/p>\n

The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback scored in the fashion department by wearing a velvet suit from Burberry with jewelry from Tiffany & Co. His wife complemented the look with a maroon gown adorned with sequined designs and tassels.<\/p>\n

The outing came shortly after Hurts skipped the Eagles\u2019 Super Bowl celebration at the White House.<\/p>\n

June 2025<\/h3>\n

Hurts and Burrows had a larger wedding in Napa Valley, California, two months after he first revealed they had tied the knot, per Page Six<\/em><\/a>. The pair rented out the Four Seasons hotel from June 12 through June 15 to host their friends and family for their second round of nuptials. The venue was closed down to the public amid the pair\u2019s lavish celebration.<\/p>\n

The weekend\u2019s festivities included a Thursday night dinner, a Friday night barn party and a vow exchange in front of a fountain on Saturday, per the outlet. Stevie Wonder<\/strong> was reportedly in attendance.<\/p>\n
