Jeremy Allen White\u2019s<\/strong><\/a> estranged wife, Addison Timlin<\/strong><\/a>, broke her silence after filing for divorce in a candid Mother\u2019s Day tribute.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cBeing a single mom is not how I pictured it. It is so fucking hard. It is all out covered in s\u2014t crying on the floor kick you in the shins screaming with no sound coming out hard,\u201d Timlin, 31, wrote via Instagram<\/a> on Sunday, May 14, alongside a series of throwback photos of herself and her two children. \u201cIt\u2019s not the natural order of things. It can be exhausting but more than anything it can just be so lonely. When something magical happens and you have to tell yourself \u2018don\u2019t forget this\u2019 because there\u2019s no witness by your side.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The Pennsylvania native \u2014 who shares daughters Ezer, 4, and Dolores, 2<\/a>,\u00a0<\/span>with White, 32 \u2014 called solo parenting a \u201cpainful\u201d experience, but shared that the lows are \u201cdemolished by the staggering heights\u201d and happier moments.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cTo live with young children is an eyes wide open, wondrous and joyful place to be,\u201d she continued. \u201cIt\u2019s to be surrounded by a daily expression of their authentic selves and I wonder if without their example I would have been able to do the same.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Timlin filed for divorce<\/a> from The Bear<\/em> star on Thursday, May 11, after more than three years of marriage. The\u00a0All Roads to Perla\u00a0<\/em>actress submitted a divorce petition categorized as \u201cdissolution with minor child\u201d with the Stanley Mosk Courthouse. The filing falls under the \u201cfamily law division\u201d in L.A.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The estranged spouses \u2014 who tied the knot in October 2019 \u2014 met in 2008 on the set of their film, Afterschool<\/em>, and were together for nearly 15 years before they called it quits<\/a>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Sunday\u2019s social media upload marks the first time Timlin has spoken out since filing for divorce. In her post, the Fallen<\/em> star shared that being a mom was \u201cthe only thing I ever wanted<\/a>.\u201d She added that parenting her two little ones is \u201cthe most remarkable being on the planet\u201d and \u201cdoing it alone has given me more strength and more empathy and more tears than anything else in my life ever has.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The mother of two concluded her message by thanking the people, places and things that have helped her \u201cthese last nine months\u201d \u2014 including \u201cMac and cheese,\u201d \u201clollipops,\u201d \u201cpirate\u2019s booty,\u201d \u201cmy friends,\u201d my neighbors\u201d and \u201csoap & water\u201d \u2014 giving a special shoutout to anyone who \u201cturned and said to me, \u2018I\u2019ve got you.\u2019\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Following her heartfelt message, the American Horror Stories<\/em> alum\u2019s friends quickly took to the comments section to show their support. \u201cWe love you \ud83c\udf3b here\u2019s to glorious glittering honest powerful you \ud83d\udc9b,\u201d Kate Bosworth<\/strong><\/a> wrote, while her fianc\u00e9, Justin Long<\/strong><\/a>, replied: \u201cI love you so big, bug. So grateful to know you and those little bugs \u2764\ufe0f.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Keleigh Teller<\/strong><\/a>, for her part, wished Timlin a \u201cHappy Mother\u2019s Day,\u201d while Kevin McHale<\/strong><\/a> simply commented three red heart emojis.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The Shameless<\/em> <\/a>alum and the Feast of the Seven Fishes<\/em> actress have notoriously played coy about their relationship over the years \u2014 even while Timlin was pregnant with both of their children \u2014 but White has often gushed about his children. In August 2022, he shared how they\u2019ve helped him in his relationship with the Life Like<\/em> star.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI learn a lot from them,\u201d he told InStyle<\/em><\/a> at the time. \u201cI feel like in a lot of ways, they\u2019re teaching me all the time how to be better: how to be better to them; how to be better to my wife, my friends, my parents, my sister.
