Justin Long and Kate Bosworth have welcomed a daughter into the world<\/p>\n
The Blue Crush star and the 47-year-old actor have welcomed a baby girl into the world via a surrogate, sources told the New York Post newspaper’s Page Six column.<\/p>\n
A spokesperson for the couple – who married in 2023, a year after they went public with their romance – has yet to comment on the happy news.<\/p>\n
Justin previously hinted at planning a family with Kate, 42, in a touching post for her birthday last year.<\/p>\n
He wrote in part: “One day our kids might ask me \u201cDad, why did you write sappy things about Mom on that old Instagram app? The one you won\u2019t let us use?\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAnd I\u2019ll say ‘Well, _____, because there are a lot of poisonous things on the Internet but your mom always inspires me to put good things into the world. Besides, i know reading those old posts touched her and made her smile. And I\u2019ve been so blessed to have experienced so many fun, wondrous things in this life – things for which I\u2019ll never be able to properly express my gratitude – but of all those joys, touching your Mom and making her smile are my favorites.’<\/p>\n
\n“They might say ‘Ew!’ Or ‘Why?’<\/p>\n
\n“And I\u2019d say ‘Because she completed all of your Dad\u2019s favorite love songs. Even ones he hadn\u2019t thought about since he was a kid. Like the theme song of a TV show he loved called FAMILY TIES. There was a line in that song that went like this “\u2026and there ain\u2019t no nothin\u2019 we can\u2019t love each other through\u2026” And one year, when she was 40, your Mom completed that song too. She\u2019s simply the best’ (sic)”<\/p>\n
\nJust as the couple didn’t announce they were expecting a baby, it only emerged they had married when Justin referred to Kate as his wife in May 2023, a month after they had announced their engagement.<\/p>\n
\nSpeaking on his Life is Short podcast, he recalled his time in Bulgaria working on Barbarian and said: “I was there while I was like really falling in love with my now-wife.<\/p>\n
\n“She came to visit and I had never been comfortable with\u2026 set visits. I like to separating the relationship…<\/p>\n
\n“But, yeah, I loved having her there and we just had the most magical time… It helped me having her there. She’d help me with scenes. It was the best.”<\/p>\n
