Rebecca Romijn<\/strong><\/a> and husband Jerry O\u2019Connell<\/strong><\/a> do not abide by the saying, \u201cWhat\u2019s mine is yours\u201d when it comes to money.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe keep our money completely separate,\u201d Romijn, 52, revealed during the Thursday, July 17, episode of SiriusXM\u2019s Andy Cohen<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Host Andy Cohen<\/strong><\/a> joked, \u201cNow that The Talk<\/em> money is not coming in, I mean Rebecca, is [the breadwinner],\u201d which prompted the couple to share their financial rules in marriage. (O\u2019Connell cohosted The Talk<\/em><\/a> from 2021 to 2024.)<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s, like, a community pot,\u201d Romijn explained, noting that both she and O\u2019Connell, 51, add to their child-raising fun \u201cquarterly.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Star Trek: Strange New Worlds<\/em> actress, who shares 16-year-old twins Dolly and Charlie<\/a> with her husband, noted that she and O\u2019Connell knew before they got married that they would keep their money separate.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s like one of the first conversations you have when you decide to enter into a legal agreement together,\u201d Romijn said.<\/p>\n

O\u2019Connell pointed out that the amount that each of them contribute to the \u201ccommunity pot\u201d for family expenses can vary.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have to say, we actually throttle how much money we put into that account sometimes,\u201d O\u2019Connell said. Romijn chimed in, \u201cDepending on who\u2019s working more<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cThe one who\u2019s not working gets a little bit of a break and the one who is working puts in a little more. And we really tag-team with work.\u201d<\/p>\n

Romijn confirmed that she and O\u2019Connell have been on the same page<\/a> when it comes to their family since day one.<\/p>\n

Romijn and O\u2019Connell\u2019s love story began in 2004 when they met at a Maxim<\/em> Hot 100 party in Las Vegas. Three years later, the pair tied the knot in July 2007. Their daughters, Dolly and Charlie, were born the following December.<\/p>\n
