Denise Richards<\/strong><\/a>\u2019 estranged husband, Aaron Phypers<\/strong><\/a>, denied her claims of abuse<\/a> shortly after the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills<\/em><\/a> alum was granted a temporary restraining order against him.<\/p>\n

When contacted by Us Weekly<\/em> about Richards\u2019 allegations that he got physical with her throughout their marriage, Phypers, 52, claimed, \u201cNot true. Conjured up. I have the real evidence.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Wild Things<\/em> star, 54, made the allegations against her ex, who she married in 2018, in a petition filed on Thursday, July 17.<\/p>\n

Richards alleged, \u201cAaron would frequently violently choke me, violently squeeze my head with both hands, tightly squeeze my arms, violently slap me in my face and head, aggressively slam my head into the bathroom towel rack, threaten to kill me, hold me down with his knee on my back to the point where I would have to plead with him to get off me so that he would not kill me and hack into my laptop and phone and download all of my text messages.\u201d<\/p>\n

Richards detailed a fight on July 4<\/a> over their shared home when Phypers allegedly showed up at Richards\u2019 separate townhouse uninvited. She claimed he screamed at her \u201cwithin two inches\u201d of her face while screaming profanities at her. Richards claimed that later in the day, \u201cAaron chased me and grabbed both of my arms forcefully and pushed me and dragged me to the ground.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tDenise Richards and Aaron Phypers\u2019 split came as a shock to Us \u2014 especially when you look at how the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum used to speak about her then-husband and his \u2026 body. On Monday, July 7, Us Weekly reported Phypers filed for divorce from Richards after six years of marriage. He [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

She wrote in her declaration, \u201cI landed on the stairs, causing immense pain. Aaron stole my laptop and sent private messages he had stolen from my laptop without my permission.\u201d<\/p>\n

In her filing, Richards said her ex owned eight unregistered guns. She said she feared for her safety without the court\u2019s protection.<\/p>\n

In addition to allegations of physical abuse, and including two photos of alleged evidence, Richards claimed Phypers was verbally abusive.<\/p>\n

Richards told the court that she once woke up to Phypers yelling at her about messages he saw via her iCloud in May. She claimed he said, \u201cYou f***ing bitch. I went into your computer and saw your text messages because your laptop were open while you were watching the movie on Netflix. I clicked sync iMessage so that your text messages would appear on your laptop and everything downloaded and I took photo of everything you lying bitch.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tMonths before Aaron Phypers filed for divorce, Denise Richards hinted that splitting was not in the cards for her. \u201cAfter the divorce I went through with their dad \u2026 It\u2019s not fun. It\u2019s really kind of awful,\u201d Richards, 54, exclusively told Us Weekly in an interview with daughters Sami and Lola in February. (Richards shares [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

As Us<\/em> previously reported, Phypers filed for divorce on July 7. He listed the date of marriage as September 8, 2018, and the date of separation as July 4, 2025.<\/p>\n
