Prince Harry<\/a>, on Easter Saturday, and he says, ‘Sorry to bother you, O, but we have a duck problem here.’<\/p>\n“A duck had come into their yard and laid their eggs and had these chicks.<\/p>\n
“And he said, ‘Our pond is a stream, we don\u2019t have a pond, so can we bring the ducks over to your pond?’ “<\/p>\n
\nOprah agreed but asked Harry to wait because her best friend Gayle King’s grandchildren were coming to visit and would like to see the spectacle, but the 40-year-old prince – who has Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four, with wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex – insisted he needed to move the creatures immediately.<\/p>\n
\nShe continued: “I said, ‘Wait until I can get the kids to come down to the pond so they can see you put the ducks in the pond.’ And he goes, \u2018No, we\u2019re coming right away, we\u2019re coming over!’ “<\/p>\n
\nBut the cute scene turnned to chaos when the “mama duck” fled and the trio had to chase her, providing the “funniest thing” Oprah had ever seen.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: “As he opens the door, the mama duck flies out. And he\u2019s got all the baby ducks in a box.<\/p>\n
\n“We\u2019re chasing the mama duck who is in the front yard and has flown to the other side. We\u2019ve got her ducks. Harry\u2019s running after, Meghan gets out, she\u2019s running after, chasing the mom and trying to get her to come back to her ducks.<\/p>\n
\n“And for like half an hour, we\u2019re running around with the ducks in a box. We have video. It\u2019s the funniest thing I\u2019ve ever seen.”<\/p>\n
\nKelly joked the duck had been very shrewd in choosing a nesting spot.<\/p>\n
\nShe laughed: “The ducks also hit the jackpot.<\/p>\n
\n“They\u2019re like, \u2018Wait a minute, we show up at Prince Harry\u2019s house and now we\u2019re at Oprah\u2019s!\u2019 Excuse me. That duck knew what it was doing when it laid its eggs.”<\/p>\n
\nMeghan had shared a clip of the ducks on her Instagram page over Easter.<\/p>\n
\nShe captioned the video: “Wishing you a Happy Easter full of love\u2026.and surprises!”<\/p>\n
