Ciara<\/strong><\/a> and Russell Wilson<\/strong><\/a> were the center of attention on the red carpet at the 2025 ESPY Awards.<\/p>\n

The singer, 39, and the New York Giants quarterback, 36, stayed close to one another as they posed for photos outside of the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Wednesday, July 16. The pair smiled for the cameras while they kept their arms interlocked.<\/p>\n

Wilson looked dapper in a navy velvet suit jacket paired with a black button-up and matching pants. Ciara, meanwhile, dazzled in a nude off-the-shoulder gown with crystal embellishments.<\/p>\n

Ciara and Wilson tied the knot in July 2016 after more than a year of dating. The couple share three children \u2014 daughter Sienna, 8, son Win, 4, and daughter Amora, 19 months \u2014 while Ciara is also the mother of son Future Jr., 11, with her ex-fianc\u00e9, Future<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThe sports world\u2019s biggest names took a break from the field and stepped off the court to attend the 2025 ESPY Awards. Dancing With the Stars pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy was among one of the first celebrities to arrive to the Wednesday, July 16, red carpet. The professional dancer wore a black wrap shirt and matching [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In March, Ciara showed her support for Wilson<\/a> after he signed with the New York Giants. (He previously played for the Seattle Seahawks from 2012 to 2021, where he won a Super Bowl, before moving on with the Denver Broncos from 2022 to 2023 and the Pittsburgh Steelers from 2024 to 2025.)<\/p>\n

\u201cBeen here before \u2026 can\u2019t wait to do it again #MetLife @nygiants,\u201d Wilson wrote via his Instagram Stories at the time, referring to his Super Bowl XLVIII win at Met Life Stadium against the Denver Broncos in February 2014.<\/p>\n

Ciara subsequently reposted Wilson\u2019s message, adding blue, white and red hearts to represent the Giants\u2019 colors. In a follow-up post, she praised her husband for his relentless work ethic.<\/p>\n

One month earlier, Ciara gushed over the \u201cincredible respect\u201d she has for Wilson\u2019s career, noting that she loves to cheer him on from the sidelines.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe actually helped me with my nerves, kind of, early on because you feel like \u2018woo\u2019 when you see someone on his back,\u201d she told Cam Heyward<\/strong> during a February episode of his \u201cNot Just Football\u201d podcast. \u201cI\u2019m like I wish there was a way to be in the helmet, like, \u2018Babe, he\u2019s right behind you.\u2019 But you can\u2019t do that. I feel like I\u2019m connected to him, so whatever he goes through, I go through. We\u2019re an extension of you guys in some regard.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wilson, for his part, revealed on Carmelo Anthony\u2019s<\/strong> \u201c7PM in Brooklyn\u201d podcast in May that he\u2019d planned to stay single for \u201c10 years\u201d<\/a> after his divorce from Ashton Meem<\/strong> and prior to meeting Ciara.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tRussell Wilson and Ciara have been going strong since they first started dating in 2015. Ahead of their July 2016 nuptials, the couple spoke candidly about their decision to remain celibate until marriage. \u201cWe\u2019re hanging in there. I\u2019m not gonna lie. I\u2019m human, so it is not easy,\u201d Ciara,\u00a0who was already the mother of son [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Wilson remembered coming up with a list of \u201cnon-negotiables\u201d for his future partner, including being a \u201cbeliever,\u201d \u201cfaithful\u201d and \u201ca woman that was gonna love me the way my mom loved my dad.\u201d<\/p>\n
