An EMS was called, but they couldn\u2019t revive him. The official autopsy results still won\u2019t be ready for a couple months, per the report.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are heartbroken and still processing this loss.<strong> Dan<\/strong> truly believed in sharing his experiences and educating people on the paranormal. His kindness and passion touched everyone who knew him. Thank you for your support and kind thoughts during this difficult time,\u201d the New England Society for Psychic Research <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/warrens.net\" onclick=\"getOutboundLink(&#039;https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/warrens.net&#039;); return false;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said in a statement.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The death occurred while he was with the \u201chaunted\u201d Annabelle doll, which inspired the eponymous 2014 film. It was also popularized through the 2013 horror movie <em>The Conjuring<\/em> and its subsequent film franchise. The doll was first purchased in 1970 from a hobby store by a mother and given to her daughter, a nursing student, in Connecticut.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lorraine<\/strong> and <strong>Ed Warren<\/strong>, the original investigators of the doll, claim it has a \u201cdemonic\u201d presence.<\/p>\n<p>The New England Society for Psychic Research announced the tour will continue on, despite the tragic passing.
