Bravo viewers anxiously awaiting news on season 12 of Vanderpump Rules<\/em><\/a> just got a glimpse at the new cast.<\/p>\n

The new group of SURvers were spotted filming the show on Monday, July 14, with Demyana Selem<\/strong> and Jason Cohen<\/strong> identified as some of the cast members. They were seen exiting Lisa Vanderpump<\/strong>\u2019s restaurant in Los Angeles amid production on the next chapter of the hit series.<\/p>\n

The Vanderpump Rules<\/em> franchise started in 2013 as a spinoff<\/a> of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills<\/em>. From there, it grew into a pop culture phenomenon with largely the same cast season to season until Tom Sandoval<\/strong>\u2018s split from Ariana Madix<\/strong> due to his affair with Rachel \u201cRaquel\u201d Leviss<\/strong> called the show\u2019s future into question.<\/p>\n

Bravo originally put season 12 on pause after the cast ended up at odds following Scandoval. The network announced in November 2024 that an entirely new cast would take over after 11 seasons.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe last 12 years of filming have been an extraordinary run full of laughter, tears and everything in between,\u201d Lisa, 64, said in a statement at the time. \u201cI can\u2019t thank enough those who have shared their lives. How I love you all.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lisa said she was excited to usher in the show\u2019s successors<\/a>, adding, \u201cIn the restaurant business, one shift always gives way to another. Cheers to the next generation of Vanderpump Rules.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Bravo show\u2019s executive producer Alex Baskin<\/strong> teased how Vanderpump Rules<\/em> has changed after recasting the show.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re working on it. We\u2019re excited. It\u2019s back to our basic principles,\u201d Baskin teased on a June episode of the \u201cLadyGang\u201d podcast. \u201cIt\u2019s a group of people who are really friends in their 20s and who work together and kind of do everything together.\u201d<\/p>\n

Baskin noted that he was excited for longtime viewers to see the overhaul as a fresh start. The overhaul allowed the network to start fresh. \u201cIt\u2019s the low stakes but high intensity fun ride that I love,\u201d he added. \u201cAnd it bears very little resemblance to the original \u2014 other than obviously there\u2019s SUR and Lisa [Vanderpump] presides over it. There\u2019s that life phase again.\u201d<\/p>\n
