Hugh Jackman<\/a> was finalised last month – is said to be open to finding love again, but she’s not rushing into another relationship.<\/p>\nA source told Woman’s Day magazine: “Deb is finally starting to heal and talk about what she wants in her life going forward.<\/p>\n
“She’s got an incredible support system that’s been there every step of the way, helping her to pick up the pieces of her life.<\/p>\n
“They are encouraging her to start dating again.”<\/p>\n
\nIt’s said while Deborra-Lee has been getting offers from some “incredible guys”, she won’t be tempted to settle.<\/p>\n
\nThe source added: “She knows what she brings to the table.”<\/p>\n
\nDeborra-Lee and Hugh split in September 2023 after 27 years of marriage, but she only filed for divorce in May, and it was signed off by a judge a few weeks ago.<\/p>\n
\nAccording to PEOPLE magazine, online court records from New York’s Suffolk County Supreme Court show that a judgment of divorce was filed on June 12, and later uploaded to the website on June 23, with the case not listed as ‘Disposed’.<\/p>\n
\nWhen Deborra-Lee filed for divorce from the 56-year-old actor, she indicated the terms were uncontested and would only need a sign-off from a judge.<\/p>\n
\nIt was revealed days after the filing that the pair had begun to separate their shared assets.<\/p>\n
\nThe former couple met on the set of the Australian TV series Correlli in 1995 and married on 11 April 1996.<\/p>\n
\nThey adopted their son, Oscar, now 24, in 2000, and their daughter, Ava, 19, in 2005.<\/p>\n
\nIn September 2023, they confirmed their separation in a joint statement shared with People, saying: \u201cOur family has been and always will be our highest priority.<\/p>\n
\n“We have been blessed to share almost three decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cOur journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nIn May, Deborra-Lee issued a separate statement discussing the emotional impact of the split. <\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cMy heart and compassion goes out to everyone who has traversed the traumatic journey of betrayal. It\u2019s a profound wound that cuts deep.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nDeborra added: \u201cHowever, I believe in a higher power and that God or the universe, whatever you relate to as your guidance, is always working for us. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cThat belief has helped me navigate the breakdown of an almost three-decade marriage.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nAccording to The Daily Mail, a source claimed Hugh was \u201cblindsided\u201d by Deborra\u2019s comments and \u201cextremely disappointed\u201d, alleging there had been \u201can unwritten understanding that she would not trash him to the press\u201d.<\/p>\n
