After hitting it off during a September 2022 episode, the duo quickly fell for each other<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cBrandon, I have always yearned for a life-changing love, but I had never seen it or experienced it firsthand. But then I met you,\u201d the Bachelor<\/em> season 26 alum said during the November 2022 finale. \u201cI feel like we have two hearts cut from the same cloth and I have never felt more seen or understood in my entire life. In you, I have found my best friend, my missing puzzle piece and my soulmate. I love you so much and I\u2019m never going to take that for granted.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Bachelorette<\/em> season 17 alum subsequently proposed \u2014 which Russell saw coming.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis one wears his heart on his sleeve, so I had no doubts at all on proposal day,\u201d Russell exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> in November 2022 with a laugh.<\/a> \u201cI mean, there\u2019s always that nervous feeling, like you said, where it\u2019s like, \u2018Oh my gosh,\u2019 because when you start to care so much and love someone so much, you obviously have that pit feeling where you\u2019re like, \u2018I hope that this works out\u2019 \u2014 you want it to because it means so much. But I didn\u2019t have any doubts.\u201d<\/p>\n

While their romance has seemed like a fairy tale on screen, the couple admits that they went through \u201clittle growing pains here and there\u201d after leaving Mexico.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe went straight from seeing each other 20 hours a day to staying inside and couldn\u2019t be with each other,\u201d Jones said, agreeing with Russell that they do \u201cbicker sometimes\u201d and \u201cfight\u201d like \u201cnormal couple[s]\u201d do. \u201cLike [when she buys] random things on Amazon, she\u2019s like, \u2018Hey can you put this together for me?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI had never had anybody look at me like [he did]. It\u2019s one thing to experience someone\u2019s words and then experience their actions. I\u2019m getting it all from him at the same time,\u201d the Oklahoma native gushed. \u201cHe wears his heart on his sleeve and I never have to guess how he\u2019s feeling. That\u2019s something that I said I needed coming off of Bachelor. I was like, \u2018I don\u2019t want to do the guesswork. I want someone that\u2019s gonna be intentional with me.\u2019 \u2026 And that\u2019s exactly [Brandon].\u201d<\/p>\n

Post-show, the twosome revealed that they are moving in together in San Diego.<\/a><\/p>\n
