‘He\u2019s my best friend on the planet’: Jason Kelce on brother Travis<\/p>\n
The former Philadelphia Eagles player and his Kansas City Chiefs star brother were rivals in the NFL but Jason, 37, insisted he and Travis, 35 have always been close and their podcast has brought them even closer together.<\/p>\n
According to Starcade Media, he said: \u201cTravis and I have been close for a long time. Now with the [New Heights] podcast, we talk to each other more than we ever have.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe loved each other growing up. We still love each other. Now it\u2019s more like peer to peer, whereas growing up, being the older brother, it was a little bit different.<\/p>\n
\u201cNow, he\u2019s my best friend on the planet. We get to talk once a week and our families are close.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nJason \u2013 who has daughters Wyatt, five, Elliotte, four, Bennett, two, and Finnley, three months \u2013 with wife Kylie Kelce, also praised Travis as a \u201cgreat uncle\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nHe said: \u201cI think we try to share the right amount on the internet, the viral moments and whatnot. But you also try to keep some of the stuff private. \u2026 We\u2019re a family that loves each other, we love being around each other, and it\u2019s good to sit down and talk once a week.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nJason is also hugely supportive of Travis\u2019 romance with Taylor Swift, saying that the relationship has helped his brother mature.<\/p>\n
\nSpeaking on the Fitz Whit podcast in February, he quipped: \u201cOne of the things I love so much about Travis is that he never grew up.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nJason went on: \u201cIt\u2019s changing. I think sometimes you get people in your life that maybe get that out of you and that\u2019s a good thing.\u201d<\/p>\n
