Harrison Ford<\/strong><\/a> and Calista Flockhart<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s first encounter was straight out of a rom-com \u2014 albeit one set among the Hollywood A-list.<\/p>\n The Star Wars<\/em> actor and the Ally McBeal<\/em> alum initially met at the 2002 Golden Globe Awards<\/a>. Reports circulated at the time that Flockhart got her future husband\u2019s attention by intentionally spilling a drink on him<\/a>, but the Emmy nominee later said that wasn\u2019t the case.<\/p>\n \u201cWe were having a conversation for maybe 20 minutes before the wine spilled, and the truth is, Harrison spilled the wine!\u201d Flockhart told Hello!<\/em> magazine in June 2003.<\/p>\n In the same interview, the Witness<\/em> star gushed about his romance with Flockhart, who is 22 years his junior<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019m in love,\u201d Ford told the outlet. \u201cRomantic love is one of the most exciting and fulfilling kinds of love, and I think there is a potential for it at any stage of your life. Ford also adopted Flockhart\u2019s son, Liam, who was born in 2001.<\/p>\n The couple have kept details about their relationship relatively private over the years, but they occasionally share funny stories about each other.
